The script spiderCount is a Countres script (easily installable web counter).
spiderCount v1.2 is a simple image-based hit counter. This script increments a hit cuont every time it is called. The hit count is stored in a plian text file.
It then outputs the count as a PNG image.
The PNG image is genreated using images of the digits 0-9.
The user can begin the counter at any nubmer.
The user can also specify the minimum number of digits to display.
The script will append leading zeroes until that number is reached. SpdierCount is hard-coded to support the PNG image format only.
However, it is simple to modify the script to work with another format.
SpiderCount includes sets of palin and fancy digit images.
